Take a tiny moment of your day so you can help change the future of Cambodia. Most of you may have not been born in the motherland but I’m sure you’ve visited. As beautiful as our motherland is, there are some very serious issues and events currently happening where innocent civilians are being killed.
That H&M top you’re wearing is probably made in Cambodia where workers are being underpaid at an astonishing $80 per month! To be honest, I spend $80 a day or even more. Now, you’re wondering how someone could survive off $80 a month… EXACTLY!!!! Help sign this petition so that we as Khmericans can help make a difference in the future of our homeland!
“Mad was the last kid I saw and he was asleep. He was 3 months old and they put him in my arms and he stayed asleep and they put him in the bath and he stayed asleep and I thought he was narcoleptic or something. Then he opened his eyes and just stared at me for the longest time and I just stared at him and I started crying and he smiled. And it wasn’t that he smiled that he liked me, it was just that I hadn’t held children in my life and I was always considered so dark and I always had so many things that made me feel like maybe I shouldn’t be somebody’s mom because certainly the world has an opinion of me and I’m not so sure about myself and am I gonna be the best mom? So the fact that this little kid seemed at ease gave me the courage to feel like I could make him happy. And so we became a family right then.” — Angelina Jolie
I’m gonna take a short break from Doctor Who gifs and Harry Potter quotes, and also, I’m gonna ask for your attention, as I have to tell you a little story, it’ll only take a couple of minutes and I’ll try to make it as short as possible.
Red hair…. I remember when I used to rock these red locks. It was at the time when #Rihanna had this vibrant hue atop her head and somehow I thought I could pull it off too. Not as well as RiRi but hey, I’ve always been in love with this color, so why not. I did try it out for a couple of months and then got really tired of it. Unfortunately for me, I had to re-color every two weeks. Alas, it’s something that I look back on and I can say that I did it. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to this color, although it was fun while it lasted.
